• YOU'RE NOT ALONE •

I want to hate Facebook, but I can't. Even if you're utterly alone –– on a space station with cosmonauts who don't speak English or doing research on snowfall in antarctica –– as long as you have an internet connection you can be in touch with people who share your struggles. 

I know, I sound like a Hallmark commercial. But it's true. 

Facebook has enabled me to connect with other parents all over the world (and right here in Portland) who have kids that are ASD and SPD.

Here are a few of the groups I've joined. I lurk more than I contribute, but that's fine. Sometimes it helps just knowing there are others out there on the same journey.
